Apply to the SuperUROP Undergraduate Research Program
2022-2023

Students:

At this time the EECS Department has confirmed that they will participate in the SuperUROP Program and provide funding to most of their students working with EECS faculty.

The MechE Department expects to participate in the SuperUROP Program and provide funding to some students working with MechE faculty. Please note that the deadlines may be different (later) for MechE.

CS+HASS projects There is funding available for joint CS and HASS SuperUROP projects: please check the box on the application form, choose the CS+HASS Coordinator as your EECS approved supervisor (if possible), and fill in the additional details. Some CS+HASS projects are listed under EECS and and some under SHASS.

We hope that AeroAstro, CEE, Chemical Engineering, NSE, Quest and CCSE will participate in SuperUROP for 2022-2023, with the potential of providing departmental SuperUROP funding for the research component. We will update this statement when/if these opportunities materialize.

The MIT option is for students who are not in the listed departments. In this case, it is unlikely that there will be departmental SuperUROP funding. There is possibly funding from your supervisor or from the UROP office or you can earn credit for the research component.

Please click on the appropriate department below to get started.

The deadline for intent is Friday, April 1st. (for most departments)

The deadline for the proposal is Monday, April 25th. (for most departments)
